A lovely pair of vintage earrings from the Balkan region. The earrings are made of old filigree buttons used in Croatia, Serbia or Bosnia in bygone days. These buttons would have decorated either side of a man's vest. 

The earrings' elements do not test as silver, the ear wires may have replaced the older ear wires or simply added to the buttons to make earrings. The earrings have a small filigree sphere dangle.  Very pretty earrings in good vintage condition.
